Different Eyes...

For those of you who didnt know... Ive been working at Jaya at a shop called Psalms Oasis for bout... almost a week now (gonna stop soon... working at Bangsar after this). Anyways... its my first time working.. And... frankly.. Things that happen when you're working and when you're in school is seriously very different. I mean like.. The things you do. The people you meet. Its all so different. You meet totally obnoxious people. People who are shy. Demanding. Polite. Hot! (*wink!*) Rich. Disabled. The list just goes on. And you gotta be on your feet most of the time. So far. Ive been a salesgirl/cashier/stock checker/whatever else there is to do there ill be the one doing it... (While my boss is behind with her bf playing Mario or whatever it is on her blardy PSP!)

So ya anyways... Like today... i had the most... I dunno how or what way to put it. But ya. I had to layan this woman bout in her 40's. I thought she was any other ordinary woman when she walked in. But after a while. I told her that we've got more designs of the item she was looking at at the back, but she just totally ignored me. I was pretty annoyed then. After about a min or so only did i find out that she was deaf and mute. My whole point of view totally changed from then on. Ok lar. I had 3 other mute and deaf customers who came in before. Together. But it just wasnt the same. I actually conversated with this particular woman in silence for 40mins! SERIOUSLY!!! She's bout the first person who's made me shuttup for THAT LONG!!! haha... Yeah. In that 40mins. Found out that she was looking for a prez for a friend of hers who's 47years. So ya. She kept on asking my opinion. It was all so totally weird yet... I dunno... Warming? Yeah. It was pretty fun. I probably looked like some idiot using diff hand gestures to get my message across. Haha... But we did cheat la at times. Like... a wanna say coulour. How to say?! So... We... ... ... ... SMS-ED!!! Lol... i type message then she read. Then she wanna ask me also she type on her own phone then show me... Haha. Was really cool! End of the day... She bought 4items. And we helped her wrapped the presents...

After experiencing such an event... Its really made me realize how fortunate i am. Maybe i dont get everything i want. Maybe i dont have the most fancy stuff. I may not even have anything next time. But at least im still able to see, speak, hear. Basic things. So small and taken for granted. Yet so vital.

One advice. Count your blessings. Focus on the little things you got. Not whatchu dont. Out.
